How I Met Jesus
I prayed a scripted prayer when I was 5, I am sure I meant it but I don’t remember it at all. I truly gave my life to Jesus when I was a freshman in High School because I was sick of trying to make life work on my own and I realized nothing could make me whole or forgiven but Jesus.
I hope and dream that 10 years from now when surveying random people in the community regarding what they would think if Disciples Church vanished, they would respond with: “I met Christ in that community. I don’t know what we would do without that church…it makes such a huge difference in our lives and the life of Folsom.”
If you could only listen to one song again and again for the rest of your life which would you choose? Night Swimming by R.E.M. –Just gotta be one of the most beautiful melodies ever.
One of my lifelong dreams is… to ride the roads of Paris Roubaix and climb a mountain in the Tour de France. But I would settle for a vacation to Europe.
